Congratulations to Blake, Lucas, and Nicholas Atherton (12u Stout). The boys were selected to play in the Baseball Youth All-American Games this past weekend in Round Rock, Texas.
The Baseball Youth All-American Games is an invite-only event, featuring hundreds of players from around the nation. The Atherton boys were placed on a team with players from across the nation and battled other squads in their graduating class during pool & bracket elimination play. Their team finished 3-0 in bracket play, earning the number 1 seed for bracket play. The team kept rolling through the bracket and won the championship game.
In addition to the team game, all 3 boys also participated in individual skill games. All showed serious power in the home-run derby. Lucas finished in a three-way tie for first, Nicholas took 6th, and Blake finished 10th.
