Player Profile – Carson Pomeroy

Carson Pomeroy, a 2021 graduate of Lee’s Summit High School, had a breakout year in 2019. His performance that year helped him to develop as a player, culminating in an offer from State Fair Community College and an invitation to play on an elite travel team for the 2020 fall season. The speedy centerfielder shares his exciting story along with his plans for the 2021 season.

Player Profile – Wyatt Clark

Wyatt Clark (Blue Springs South High School, 2021) began his playing career as a catcher and last year changed his focus to pitching. The switch is paying off for the right-hander: his fastball is working up to 90 MPH, topping out at 89 at the 2020 Premier Baseball Winter College Showcase, and his curveball shows tight spin with late break. His performance this summer earned him an offer to play at his dream school, the University of Central Missouri.

Four IE Players Join Team Missouri at PBR Junior Future Games

The PBR Junior Future Games as an invite-only event that features select 2024 & 2025 baseball prospects from across the country. Participants are given the opportunity to compete against other top-level players while representing their respective states in a high-level atmosphere. The five-day event is held at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA.

Zach Dillman, a 2020 Lee’s Summit West graduate, has an interesting recruiting story. After failing to make the high school baseball team during his Sophomore year, a little over a year later he accepted an offer to play baseball at Missouri State University. After the 2020 high school season was canceled, the players for the 18u Silvestri team finally had a chance this weekend to take the field. The team traveled to Springfield, Missouri for the Mid-America Baseball Southwest Open.

Player Profile – Charlie Roder

Charlie Roder, Rockhurst 2020 graduate, began playing with Inside Edge Baseball Academy when he was 14. Since then, the left-handed pitcher has enjoyed a remarkable career that gave him the opportunity to play at many of the top universities in Kansas and Missouri. His efforts culminated in an offer to play baseball at Drury University. We sat down with him to learn more about his recruiting experience and his plans for the future.
