27 IE Youth Players Nominated to MO/KAN All-State Showcase
Congratulations to the following players for being nominated to the 2019 MOKAN All-State Showcase presented by KC Sports and USSSA Baseball. Players ages 7 to 14 are nominated to the Showcase for displaying great sportsmanship, effort, and all-around great tournament performance.
3 Players Named to Four State Regional All-Tournament Team
Shortstop Brock Stewart (2019, Lee’s Summit West), Outfielder Grant Geren (2019, Blue Springs South), and Catcher Nolan Saale (2019, Platte County) each earned the all-tournament team honors.

Great Weekend for IE Baseball
It was a great weekend for IE Baseball! Most youth teams were in action this weekend, with the majority of the teams playing in the Triple Crown Sports KC Slugfest at Legacy Park in Lee’s Summit. The one exception was 10u White, who traveled to Sedalia, MO for the Sedalia Shootout. Congratulations to these teams and all the IE teams for a great weekend of baseball!
